Anti-nausea Ginger Tea

My Anti-nausea Ginger Tea recipe was a lifesaver when I first started taking Methotrexate, an immunosuppressant for my rheumatoid arthritis. It is full of fresh ginger, anti-inflammatory turmeric and lemon.

Ingredients

  • a few slices of fresh ginger
  • a few slices of fresh turmeric root
  • squeeze of fresh lemon
  • 8-16 oz boiling water

Instructions

  • Boil the water in a teea kettle or in a small saucepan. While the water is boiling, add a few slices of fresh ginger and fresh turmeric to a coffee cup.
  • Next, slice some lemon and squeeze the juice over the ginger and turmeric. Pour the hot water over top and allow to steep for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!
